Cost: Free (Default)

Starting Items: 1x Shovel

Abilities: No bonuses or drawbacks—just your raw survival skills.

Doctor Class in Dead Rails

Doctor

Cost: 15 Bonds

Starting Items: 2x Bandages, 2x Snake Oil, 1x Shovel

Abilities: A doctor can revive a teammate by using your half-health without using Bandages.

Ironclad Class in Dead Rails

Ironclad

Cost: 100 Bonds

Starting Items: Helmet, Chestplate, Left & Right Shoulder Plates, 1x Shovel

Abilities: Full armor increases defense but slows momentum by 20% (removable for speed).

Alamo Class in Dead Rails

Alamo

Cost: 50 Bonds

Starting Items: 3x Sheet Metal, 3x Barbed Wire, Helmet, 1x Shovel

Abilities: The Alamo is the best class; it can build a powerful defence to protect the train from Zombies.

Arsonist Class in Dead Rails

Arsonist

Cost: 20 Bonds

Starting Items: 4x Molotovs, 1x Shovel

Abilities: Best defence to defend against zombie crowd with double fire feature.

High Roller Class in Dead Rails

High Roller

Cost: 75 Bonds

Starting Items: 1x Shovel

Abilities: Make 1.5 times as much money with money bags, but you're 10 times more likely to get hit by lightning.

Priest Class in Dead Rails

Priest

Cost: 75 Bonds

Starting Items: 2x Crucifixes, 2x Holy Water, 1x Shovel

Abilities: Lightning-proof; holy items facilitate battle and money flow.

Survivalist Class in Dead Rails

Survivalist

Cost: 50 Bonds

Starting Items: 1x Tomahawk, 1x Shovel

Abilities: As health weakens, deal more harm, prospering within fights.

Vampire Class in Dead Rails

Vampire

Cost: 75 Bonds

Starting Items: 1x Vampire Knife, 1x Shovel

Abilities: Faster movement and melee damage, but the knife cures while hit and takes sunburn.

Conductor Class in Dead Rails

Starting Items: 3x Coal

Abilities: Although the train moves more quickly, it has no starting melee weapon and its health is halved.

Zombie Class in Dead Rails

Abilities: You can't use snake oil or bandages, but you can eat corpses to speed up healing.

Cowboy Class in Dead Rails

Cowboy

Cost: 40 Bonds

Starting Items: 1x Revolver, 1x Lasso, 1x Shovel

Abilities: Perfect for open-range combat, the lasso offers the ability to stun enemies and enhance precision with ranged weapons.

Miner Class in Dead Rails

Abilities: Faster resource gathering from debris and a 25% explosion damage boost, perfect for breaking obstacles or vaults.

Abilities: Can have powerful if covered in Milk

B Tier: Reliable Picks

Survivalist, Vampire, Ironclad, Miner: Survivalist shines when low, Vampire speeds through, Ironclad tanks hits, and Miner boosts resource gains.

C Tier: Niche Roles

Conductor, Zombie, None: Conductor’s speed is situational, Zombie’s healing is restrictive, None offers no edge.
